Don't put on so many layers that you can barely move (however that would be good protection in a spill). I find that being absolute air tight from top to bottom is the most important. Cold air even leaks through the boot lace holes (and boot tongue), stitching in the gloves and under the arms and up pants legs and under the helmet! Find all the leaks.
